Welcome to the Summer Elements blog hop hosted by Toltec Jewels of Jewel School Friends.

We were invited to create and share what we love about an element of summer. It could be jewelry, beads, a recipe, a craft, holiday memories, campfire songs -- basically anything that celebrates summer.

Summer is a great time of the year when we have many family memories created during family get-togethers and outside fun! Birthday parties, graduations, weddings are all good times to see relatives that you haven't seen since the last celebration. Family is very important to me and I cherish every moment!
This necklace was created for Blu Mudd Challenge and I think it is a good representation of summer fun!

  5. Cheri,

I love your necklace! The white chain is the coolest, and accents your nautical theme beautifully. The sailing blue sari and filigree for the ceramic make me think of lighthouses and boats and yes, summer fun!

I'm so inspired by your necklace (and the earrings Kathy Lindemer made in blue and white in her summer magazine), I got out my last two beautiful white SueBeads lampwork beads last night to make something in nautical blue and white colorway!

    Love,
    Rita
