Well I have 2 pieces photographed with my phone and they are not the best but at least I can post these.
My Bead Soup Partner is Cheryl Gangle, her is her blog,
www.RockCandyJewelryDesign.blogspot.com
And here is the Bead Soup she sent to me:
The focal and the matching beads were made by Cheryl. I love all the silver components she sent me, I have already commissioned a few of those pieces on paper so far. I also have a couple of ideas for the pendant and matching beads, probably using leather. There are also two clasps...will use both eventually but for this challenge I think I will use the round toggle one- simple but textured design.

Oh my, those are gorgeous. I love that frog. I have never seen anything like that. I too love all that silver that she sent you. You are doing a great job so far and can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jean.
DeleteIsn't that frog the cutest thing.. when I opened the 3 boxes of goodies, I envisioned several pieces. She sent me so many goodies that I will be using them for a long while. The pictures are not good, but they are viewable. :)
Lovely designing of the lampwork beads but the frog is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThank you April, that little frog is so cute!
DeleteBeautiful necklaces, I really like the green one and how you incorporated the ribbon into it. Is the focal a little frog, really cute if it is?
ReplyDeleteThank you, yes the one focal is a frog.. at first when I saw these little pieces I didn't know what they were, but then I started looking at them. I saw the little frog head first, then the legs and knew I had the perfect little beads for this!
DeleteYea Cheri!!! Your creations are awesome! I am so glad you got your pictures posted. You have designed two beautiful necklaces! I have such a hard time working in an asymmetrical way...I think I'm just a little anal! (sorry!) You really nailed it! I would definitely wear either one with pride. Thank you so much for being a wonderful first Bead Soup Blog Party partner with me. You challenged me with elements that I had never worked with before. Thanks, again for all of the fun!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Cheryl
I agree with you Cheryl, we do have to meet in the not so distant future! I will send updates of pices I make with my wonderful bead soup. I love what you created, both pieces are great! Thank you so much for all my goodies. I love that little frog, especially after I found bits and pieces that made the necklace come together. I do a lot of asymetrical, putting the clasp on the side is kind-of like a signature of mine. I like to make necklaces that can be worn several ways for those who do not always like to wear the clasp on the side.
DeleteThank you for everything, Cheri :)
Very nice my favourite is the green one with the long leaf shaped beads
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThe blue lampwork necklace is brilliant. The green one is great too. Now off to visit your partner.
ReplyDeleteLovely necklaces but like everybody else I love the frog focal!
ReplyDeleteThe frog is so cute, and I love how it matches the green ribbon!

ReplyDeleteLovely work! I particularly like the asymmetry in the first necklace -- it really keeps the eye moving around the whole piece.
