Messy Blog Hop
It's a Messy Workshop Blog Hop!
B'Sue Boutiques, has coordinated this fun Blog hop where a bunch of us jewelry artists and show just how messy our workshops can be; it's your chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at where we make our artistic pieces by hopping from blog to blog and seeing the pictures, videos and stories we have shared. At the bottom is the list of all the participants with the link to their blog; simply click on the one below mine to hop to the next, and so on. Please feel free to leave comments on our blogs.
My "workshop" is in the corner of my living room, my living room is more of a rectangle shape so there was some unused space at one end opposite the fireplace. Key word "was", it now has my work space. I have a pretty big corner desk, that soon I added shelves to one side, then I out grew that and added another shelving unit to the other side. I use to work on the coffee table, but it was hard to keep the dog out of my beads, so I added a table to my work space. My white kitchen table houses my homemade light box...hey it works!
Please enjoy our messes!!!.

my apologies for not being able to make the list clikable..I have tried to fix it 3 times..time to get to work.
ReplyDeleteI can see lots of creativity going on here!
ReplyDeleteSo glad I'm not the only one who has a messy work area! heck I have several messy areas. The bigger the space the messier it get.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed this mess! You look quite organized to me. But then...well, I DO have a system.
ReplyDeleteIt looks pretty organized to me!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, Cheri, the list is there....they can copy-paste or just back up and push! LOL You know, as I hop along I see one huge common denominator among us, besides our blessed creativity: PLASTIC BINS!!! THANKS so much for your participation, we loved having you!
ReplyDeleteIf that's messy I'm not a Steampunk. Ha ha ha. I wish my studio looked that nice. ~ Brassy
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your space. I love the giraffes!
ReplyDeleteNice space. Lots of bins that are full of fun stuff it looks like.
ReplyDeleteI started at my living room, but let me tell you that you are more
ReplyDeleteOrganized than I was, thank you for sharing your mess, and don't worry about the clickable links, we can all jus copy them on a new page ;) have a great day!
I clicked on one of the pictures and it made it bigger. Don't feel bad though. I had a heck of a time with my pictures too and they still aren't the way I wanted them to be. I don't know how some people got theirs where you could click on them and see every picture. Anyway I love your messy space too and keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I am still new at this and figuring it out. I can click on my pictures and make them bigger, but have to go back...one day maybe we will figure it out. When we do let's us notify each other...maybe we can figure it out.
DeleteEnjoyed the tour - thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove the critter collection around your computer! Yours is very organized mess; I have storage container envy. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, I love giraffes........
Deletehmmm amazing how the messiest workspaces have the most organizational objects... lol Obviously we TRY to contain our messes but the creativity makes it explode outward again and again lol
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, it does help me a little having beads in smaller containers, so that I could narrow down my search.. :)
DeleteYou have lots of places to put your beads and other good stuff. Good for you. I am still at a cross roads about exactly what I want to do. It is good of have lots of places to put stuff. I am so bad I have to see it, can't put it away.... ha ha ha.
ReplyDeleteI have labels on each of the bins; color coordinated bead bins, sterling, gold, clasps, charms, pendants, etc.. this way when I have a few components sitting on my work table, I can just pull a container and set the beads out to see what moves me.
DeleteLooks pretty organized to me! At least I would be able to find stuff there...Thanks for letting us visit!
ReplyDeleteThat is a bunch of stuff. I love the giraffe hanging out on the pole. I thought about making a light tent but don't really know if I am up for the task. Thanks for sharing your space.
ReplyDeleteSonya
Thank you for sharing your messy workspace! Love the giraffes! :)
ReplyDeleteYou have some fabulous beads, tools, and storage spaces!!! And I LOVE your corner desk! I have one too - but it's over run by my computer, loose gemstones, various paperwork, my stuffies and figurines, etc... LOL I'm about to claim the space to the left of it and put something there for storage, possibly kick my hubby's old VHS collection out of his entertainment center for storage nooks, and put shelves up! LOL This used to be just my computer room - and now, I do believe, like yours did, it's expanding!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteBtw, if I may ask, where did you get your corner computer desk?
And thanks for the view into your wonderfully chaotic workshop!!! Loved it, Cheri! =)
The desk was purchased at Office Depot, they have a great selection.
DeleteI've never had an issue keeping the dogs out of my beads, it's always the cats that want to help. I really like your desk too. Thanks for sharing your space with us!
ReplyDeleteI love your corner desk too. And you look pretty organized to me. Thanks for sharing your creative space with us, I enjoyed looking!
