One Color Blog Hope

Sally Russick of The Studio Sublime invited us to play along with her next challenge, the One Crayon Color Challenge. I choose one of my favorite colors ~ Blue, which is just one of my favorite colors! In going through my beads I did discover that I had a fair amount of blue but, I also wanted to use one of the buttons I purchased from Marla James of Marlasmud on etsy. I knew when I saw this challenge that I wanted to use one of her buttons and I loved the blue ones. Although my necklace is not full of beads, I believe it is striking! And of course that is only my opinion. I used the button as my clasp and Melinda Orr's toggle bar. I have not gotten the hang of entering everyones sites to make them active by copying, so I apologize for everyone having to go back to previous blog. Please enjoy this Blog Hop, I think it was a fun challenge and so far have enjoyed viewing the few I have viewed.
I am also adding the photo of my evening out necklace which is blue and silver and love it!

  7. Both of your pieces are really fantastic. I think that it's great that you were able to match the beads on the first necklace to the button you used for the focal/clasp. They look like they were made to do together! And that second one really is elegant! Wonderful!

  8. Both necklaces are lovely! Sometimes simple is better. I've noticed that my customers only choose the fussy pieces when they have somewhere special to go. Otherwise I sell mostly simple--yet unique pieces.

I love the blue and copper together.
